Red Dress National Awareness Day: Becoming an Ally

Description:

Simcoe County rates of human trafficking are over 2 times more than the national average and Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people remain disproportionately high within this demographic.

Featured Speaker:

  • Susan Orlando: Deputy Director at Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General
    • Director of the Human Trafficking Prosecution Team for Ontario and one the most experienced Crown Attorneys in the country on Human Trafficking.
  • Also enjoy a panel of diverse individuals from a variety of different community services within Simcoe County.

Type of Event: Various In-Person Activities from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm

  • You are invited to this free event, and everyone is welcome!
  • Limited seating, please register in advance.
  • Three Sisters Soup, fresh bread and berries provided for lunch.
