Learning experience
Human services education extends beyond the classroom. Throughout your program, you’ll develop practical skills through field placements, simulated learning, community engagement and applied projects that help prepare you for professional practice.

Field education
Apply your learning through supervised placements in schools, community agencies, social service organizations, counselling environments and justice-related settings, depending on your program.
Practice helping skills
Develop interviewing, assessment, communication, intervention and advocacy skills through simulations, case studies, role-playing and applied classroom activities before entering placement.
