Students in the School of Liberal Studies bring diverse experiences, perspectives and goals, creating a welcoming environment where curiosity, inclusion and lifelong learning are valued. You’ll build connections with classmates while preparing for your own unique educational journey.
Through the Wiidookdaading Indigenous Resource Centre and campus traditions such as Georgian’s annual Traditional Pow Wow, students have opportunities to connect with Indigenous cultures, languages and communities while becoming part of a broader college community.
Feasts, potlucks, cultural teachings, craft nights, study and lounge areas are held in the resource centre.

The Faculty of Liberal Studies connects students with learning that extends across Georgian. Through general education, communications and other learning opportunities, the Faculty supports students in developing skulls and perspectives they can carry into programs and disciplines across the college.
